Mike Vorkink, PG

President

Mike also leads the environmental group, with more than 15 years of experience in environmental compliance and the oil and gas industry. His specialties include geophysics and structural geology.

Tim Thompson, PG

Senior Geologist

Tim leads the Hazards Group with more than 25 years of experience. His professional career is focused on landslides, debris flows, fault studies, and the engineering that accompanies them.

J. Scott Seal, PE

Geotechnical Manager

With more than 20 years of experience, Scott manages the geotech team, covering a wide array of projects including foundation design, earthen dams, slope stability and MSE wall design.

Daniel J. Brown, PE

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Daniel has more than a decade of experience working on and managing geotechnical projects across several industry sectors including power, water, roadways, as well as industrial, commercial and residential development.

Jon Peaden

Senior Environmental Scientist

Jon leads GIS mapping and directs environmental compliance with more than 15 years of experience. He specializes in air quality and landfill permitting, plus regulatory support for oil and gas waste facilities.

Seth Price

Inspections & Materials Division Manager

Seth manages the Inspections and Materials Division with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in construction quality management, materials testing and field inspection. He oversees quality assurance across civil and structural engineering projects region-wide.

Scott Richards, PE, PG

Senior Geotechnical Engineer & Office Manager

Scott leads the Aviation Division and manages our Grand Junction, Colorado office, bringing more than 25 years of geological and geotechnical experience. His focus centers on engineering and construction services for runway, taxiway and apron rehabilitation and reconstruction. Additional services include geologic hazard evaluations and engineering services for vertical and horizontal projects for municipal, commercial and ski areas.
